Documents: To enter Egypt you need a valid passport. The visa is issued by the Egyptian authority upon arrival at charge of 15 US$ per person.

Custom: since the Red Sea is a marine park it is strictly forbidden to collect corals or shells from the reef or the shores. Accurate luggage controls are done upon departure. Money fines and arrest are foreseen in case of infractions.

Language: the official language is Arabic, English is spoken almost everywhere, Italian, French and German only locally.
