About Us

Our company..

We are four Italian partners who decided to join their energy giving birth to Eldorado Lodge & Restaurant, after several professional experiences in tourism mainly in Egypt.
Eldorado Lodge & Restaurant is the first and only touristic place owned and managed entirely by Italians in Dahab, expressing our idea to provide a comfortable and clean accommodation in a family friendly atmosphere.

DENIS: I managed successfully for many years a furniture factory in Italy but my true love has always been scuba diving. When I first came to the Red Sea, I immediately decided to start a new life by the waters of this paradise for divers.
Working in Sharm El Sheikh first as diving instructor and then building and managing a few dive centers on my own, I met my present partners. Unexpectedly, we found out we had in common the same spirit of life. Aware of this, the need to leave the crowded Sharm el Sheikh in search of a place still intact and unspoilt by mass tourism arose. The atmosphere surrounding Dahab is unique and makes this small beduin village a real paradise, the ideal place for our research.

FEDERICO: I’m in Egypt since 2003. After the first two years spent in Sharm El Sheikh working mainly as diving instructor and helping my sister Francesca in running her diving center,  I moved to Dahab and I joined the plan of Eldorado Lodge & Restaurant in cooperation with my other partners.

FRANCESCA:  After few years spent in Europe and in Capo Verde Islands working in tourism, in 1999 I moved to Egypt where, in Sharm El Sheikh, I first worked as assistant in the management of hotel and then started my own diving centre. Now I participate in the managing of Eldorado Lodge & Restaurant with great enthusiasm.

MERIS:  In Egypt since 1999. First in Hurgada where I started myself to the diving world managing a few Aqua Centers and guiding people to snorkeling. After that I spent three years in Sharm El Sheikh while, still working in the diving activity, I got into the restaurant business, running a pizzeria. Actually, I never loved Sharm too much. I was looking for a coaster place, less popular in a native atmosphere. I found out all of it in Dahab, the magic oasis!
